Over 450 exhibitors, 3 huge halls, conferences, shows, thousands of visitors and hundreds of conversations and meetings with clients. This is how we could briefly summarize The Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart, from which we came back tired but very pleased.
The fair, which took place from 30th November to 2nd December 2021, was attended by representatives of the automotive industry including battery, electromobility and other sectors. It was an opportunity for us to meet new business partners, as well as to learn about interesting solutions and trends in the industry.
Omega was represented by a team consisting of: Kacper Gacek, Damian Jasiołek and Andrzej Macioł.
During the three days of the fair, we talked with potential customers, presenting them with our offer in the field of designing and producing electrical harnesses. Many of our visitors indicated, that the electrical harnesses designing is our greatest competitive advantage and this form of cooperation, apart from standard serial production, is the most interesting for them. We also presented our BRØY brand – devices for disinfection with UV-C light.
We have noticed that due to the increasing instability of supply chains, many companies are open to new suppliers. It is both an opportunity and a challenge for us.
Besides meeting new potential customers, we also met our existing Partners, such as BMZ, Forsee, EnerSys or WamTechnik, and brought new contacts to representatives of Suppliers, such as Tyco Electronics, HellermannTyton, Amphenol, Araymond.
At the Tyco Electronics stand, we saw new machines that can strip any length of multiple insulations layered HV cables up to 120mm2. Another machine places connectors on the mentioned cables with surgical precision, thanks to the built-in quality control system. At the exhibitors of welding machines, we saw an ultrasonic welding process, which is an alternative to crimping on HV cables. We brought all the samples we received to Omega with us. Looking at the future of electromobility, such solutions seem to be a necessary investment.
We consider the fair to be extremely successful, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the interest in the event and our company was enormous. We established new contacts and started cooperation with new clients. Thank you very much for all the meetings and talks.
